I have been a Vineyard Resident since November of 2014. As a youth, I was part of the Provo Youth City Council, Provo Youth Court, and the Provo Youth Services Board. My family moved to Vineyard from Portland, Oregon where I was a financial advisor for 10 years with Northwestern Mutual. In late 2014 I was approached by the LDS Church to work with their Philanthropy Department and work under the direction of the Presiding Bishopric.
If I'm not with my family you can see me on the basketball court, the golf course, the racquetball court or cheering on the BYU Cougars. My favorite memory of being part of youth government is all the fun events you get to attend, i.e. local officials day, Camp Williams Leadership Training, other local Utah County meetings with other councils. I believe that our youth are an underutilized resource that communities can empower and encourage. My hope for the Vineyard Youth City Council is to become an engaging, meaningful service organization that connects youth with learning opportunities in the areas of government and leadership.
I look forward to working with you all
